Seeking a Molecular Biologist/Analyst in Jacksonville, FL for on-site work supporting NGS workflows in newborn screening.
Requires
- hands-on laboratory experience with molecular techniques and NGS instruments (Illumina or similar)
- supporting sequencing processes and connecting them to bioinformatics analysis
- developing and maintaining bioinformatics pipelines in local and cloud environments
- troubleshooting laboratory and data systems
- training staff and ensuring compliance with CAP/CLIA standards
Qualifications include at least 1 year experience with NGS workflows, strong bench lab skills, and familiarity with genomic analysis tools. Education requirements: MS with 2+ years or BS with 3+ years of relevant experience.
