Job Duties and Responsibilities: Analyze and improve manufacturing methods, personnel utilization, and production equipmentCreate and update manufacturing procedures as required. Perform training to manufacturing technicians as neededDevelop technical requirements for the purchase of capital equipment including specification, bidding, selection, supplier management, plant layout, installation, training, and the start of production for new and re-designed equipmentAnalyze space requirements and workflow, and design the layout of equipment, materials, and workspace for maximum efficiencySupport a wide variety of machining and grinding operations including training, procedure writing, and process improvementsSupport and programming of CNC machining centers is a plusDevelop and maintain Bill of Operations within ERP systemAble to manage multiple projects and tasks.Demonstrates independent decision-making and action. Requirements:Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and SolidWorks. Experience with Minitab and Epicor ERP a plusSelf-Starter with outstanding communication skills capable of managing multiple manufacturing projects and leading cross-department teams with a minimal amount of guidanceStrong mechanical aptitude, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential for this position.
