Mold Room Technician About the role The Mold Operator uses molding tools and potting material to process to encase cables and wire harnesses in exterior molding. About you You love working with your hands, making something from nothing. You know your way around hand tools and have a get-it-done attitude! Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities Assemble products according to verbal or written instructions, or by followingdrawings/diagramsPrepare cable jackets and mold tools for use in molding processMeasure and mix compounds for molding and pottingFill components with potting materialOperate convection oven to assemble molds for injection moldingMove cables and mold assemblies in and out of press machineSet up and mark components with transfer pad machine.Clean all utensils and work areas, safely disposing of chemicals in designated containersOther duties as assigned Qualifications High School Diploma or GEDKnowledge of basic hand toolsAbility to precisely measure liquids, lengths, weights and make basic calculationsAbility to use basic hand toolsMust have clear vision at 20 inches, with or without the use of corrective eyewear or a magnifying glassMust have color vision Benefits Health, Dental, Vision, Life & Disability insurancePTO accrual from day one401(k) with match after 1 yearFSA and HSA accountsTuition and Education reimbursement (after 1 year)
