A client in Glendale Heights, IL is seeking mold makers for a 6-month contract-to-hire role, with openings on all three shifts: 1st (7:00am-3:00pm), 2nd (3:00pm-11:00pm), and 3rd (11:00pm-7:00am).
- Candidates should have a GED or high school diploma and at least 7+ years of injection mold manufacturing experience, focusing on mold repair (70%) and new mold building (30%).
- Experience with machinery such as Wire EDM, Sinker EDM, Manual Mills, Lathes, Jig Grinders, and Surface Grinders is required, along with proficiency in CNC milling and EDM operations.
- Strong skills in performing preventative maintenance, repairs, reading blueprints and CAD drawings, and using precision measuring tools are essential.
- Additional proficiency with MasterCAM and CAD software like Solidworks is a plus, especially for mold design and modifications. Most candidates have technical training or degrees.
