Modeling and Simulation Engineer

DescriptionLeidos is hiring a Modeling and Simulation Engineer with an active TS/SCI clearance at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. The successful candidate will use strong technical capabilities and communication skills to collaborate with technical teams of engineers and scientists to develop, upgrade, and integrate models of threat systems in the air domain.Primary ResponsibilitiesPerform tasks related to the modeling of air-based system models using Simulink and MATLABPerform tasks related to the integration of air-based system models into a large, many-on-many, real-time, C++ based simulation environmentCollaborate with teams of government and contractor personnelFind, review, and assess available intelligence data to drive modeling decisionsTest and evaluate models to ensure functionality before submitting to the customerPrepare model test and interface documentation in addition to other supporting documentation requested by the government customerBasic QualificationsBachelor's degree in CS, CE, EE or a related field with 2+ years of applicable experience or an MS degree in CS, CE, EE, or a related fieldExperience with MATLAB/SimulinkExperience with modeling and simulation (M&S) techniquesExcellent English-language written and verbal communication. Strong emphasis on writing abilityGreat people skills and the desire to work with technical teams of engineers and scientistsAbility to work independently and under deadlines in a mixed government-contractor environmentTo be considered, must have a current and active TS/SCI security clearancePreferred QualificationsExperience working in the Intelligence Community, specifically with modeling and simulation and/or all-source analysisPay and BenefitsPay Range: $69,550.00 - $125,725.00. The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
