The role will work closely with system developers, test, and support personnel.Duties include, but are not limited to:Using MBSE to realize/describe/analyze complex systems in SysML using Cameo, Enterprise Architect or equivalent methodologiesSupport and contribute to Kubernetes environments on primary and Cloud basedAnalyze customer/stakeholder requirements, decompose requirements, derive requirements, and allocate requirements to system and subsystem elementsDevelop the MBSE modeling environment with emphasis on system decomposition, functions, interfaces, and performance to describe and analyze complex systems and softwareSupport the development of training material for MBSE stakeholdersDevelop operational models using frameworks such as DoDAF, MoDAF, UPDM, UAFWork in adherence to structured and defined development processesPerform peer reviews of fellow team members' workExperience and Skills7+ years engineeringBS in SE, CS, EE, ME, or other engineering equivalentExperience in ground systems (Parabolic, Radar, Optical RF experience), system engineering, and software knowledge is a plusFamiliarity with modern IT infrastructure capabilities to include virtualization, cloud deployment and containerization (CNFs)5+ years developing models using No Magic's Cameo Systems Modeler (or similar) conforming to SysMLWorking knowledge of space systems, including satellite ground systemsExperience with military space operationsSense of ownership, urgency, and drive to accomplish resultsMust have Secret Clearance with ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCIPreferred Skills and ExperienceRadar system knowledgeDemonstrated MBSE skills in modeling complex systemsExperience working within the Defense and/or Aerospace industryExperience developing system level models, requirements, and architecture in conjunction with discipline engineering teamsSharp analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, and capable of working effectively in a dynamic environmentFamiliarity with aerospace design and verification processes to include requirements development, validation and verification for conceptual, preliminary, and detailed designThe grade-based pay range for this job is listed below.
