Beacon Health System is hiring a full-time dayshift Modality Coordinator for our Interventional Radiology Unit at Elkhart General Hospital in Elkhart IN.We are excited to announce new pay options that value our Interventional Radiology Techs. Both full-time and part-time 24 hours per week IR Techs are eligible for premium pay.We are offering an additional 12.00 an hour with a signed 3 three year agreement and completion of department orientation.Be a Beacon. As part of Beacon Health System patients have access to providers not only at this location but can also access resources and services from across the entire health system. ​What Youll DoAs an IR Modality Coordinator youll take on a leadership role within our Imaging Services team. In partnership with the IR Charge Nurse and the Director of Imaging Services this position plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient high-quality and safe patient care while providing functional guidance to technologists and students.This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled IR Technologist ready to take the next step in their career combining hands-on technical expertise with workflow coordination and leadership responsibilities.Interventional Radiology Modality Coordinator Job ResponsibilitiesOversee daily workflow in the IR suite ensuring optimal staffing patient safety and operational efficiency.Collaborate with Radiologists and the IR Charge Nurse to protocol procedures and optimize patient throughput.Perform a variety of routine and complex interventional procedures while mentoring staff and students.Maintain QA programs technical performance standards and documentation for accreditation compliance.Troubleshoot equipment issues coordinate service and recommend equipment upgrades.Monitor inventory and manage supplies within budget expectations.Lead performance evaluations and participate in interviewing hiring and orienting new team members.Ensure accurate patient data entry image processing and PACS image management.Act as a clinical resource for interventional protocols equipment and best practices.Attend management and department meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.What You BringYou bring outstanding care inspire health and connect with heart.
