    Description:

    Responsible for transporting the mobile medical unit to predetermined sites of care, ensuring vehicle security, facilitating routine and emergent vehicle maintenance and performing patient registration, data collection, and non-invasive

    screenings, as needed.

    JOB SPECIFICATIONS AND CORE COMPETENCIES

    Education: Knowledge of vehicle operation and maintenance consistent with the operation of a vehicle requiring a CDL license from the state of Indiana is needed.

    Preferred knowledge consistent with the performance of basic health screening and first-aid certification.

    Licensure: CDL required; EMT preferred

    Experience: Previous experience with vehicle transportation and maintenance is preferred. Previous experience in performing blood pressure screenings and other non-invasive screenings is beneficial, however not required.

    Other Job Requirements:

    Ability to communicate appropriately with patients, unit manager and unit staff is required. Demonstration of interpersonal skills necessary for communication with media, visitors, and community partnership representatives required.

    Assigned hours within your shift, starting time, or days of work are subject to change based on departmental and/or organizational needs.
