A day in the life

You start your morning by reviewing your route in the ERP system, stocking your service van with the right parts, and heading out to support a select group of customers across your territory. On site, you diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on lift trucks and related material handling equipment, complete scheduled contract maintenance, and record any unsafe conditions you encounter. Between calls, you update work orders on your mobile device, maintain your rolling inventory, and keep your tools and van in top condition. Before the day ends, you finish accurate billing—road, shop, and internal—directly into the ERP, and line up parts and training for tomorrow through RNJ.

What you’ll do

  • Troubleshoot and repair a broad range of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults within industry standards and profitable guidelines.
  • Perform planned maintenance for contract customers and document findings, including any unsafe conditions.
  • Build strong customer relationships while representing our brand and supporting aftermarket product sales.
  • Manage van stock—right parts, right levels—to service equipment efficiently across your territory.
  • Stay current with repair methods and technology through RNJ-scheduled training.
