Mobile Crisis Counselors to provide timely, on-site behavioral health intervention and stabilization services to individuals experiencing mental health crises.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to mobile crisis calls and provide in-person crisis intervention and stabilization
- Conduct risk assessments and develop short-term safety and treatment plans
- Collaborate with law enforcement, hospitals, emergency responders, and community partners
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation in compliance with state regulations and agency standards
Available Shifts
Monday–Friday
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Evening Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Weekend Shifts
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Evening Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field
- Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) status required
- Current Mobile Crisis Response (MCR) Training Certificate required
- Experience working with individuals in crisis or behavioral health settings preferred
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and de-escalation skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- Fluency in Spanish and English is preferred (verbal and written)
