-Comfortable taking job photos, sending updates, and documenting completed work.

Day-to-day duties include:
-Travel to scheduled customer appointments throughout the assigned Brunswick County territory.
-Complete mobile detailing services according to Oak Island Detail’s training, systems, and quality standards.
-Set up and break down detailing equipment at each job site.
-Safely operate detailing tools, equipment, and generator as needed.
-Keep vehicle, tools, equipment, and supplies organized and professional.
-Communicate professionally with customers before, during, and after appointments.
-Follow the daily schedule and arrive on time for assigned jobs.
-Document completed work, including required photos, notes, and job updates.
-Report any customer concerns, damage claims, rework issues, or scheduling problems immediately.
-Maintain a clean, professional appearance while representing Oak Island Detail.
-Track supply needs and notify Oak Island Detail when products need to be restocked.
-Follow all safety procedures when using chemicals, equipment, water, power, and generator.
-Help protect Oak Island Detail’s reputation by delivering consistent, high-quality service.
-Work within assigned Brunswick County zones, with jobs scheduled by area whenever possible to reduce drive time.
Job Summary
Oak Island Detail is hiring a dependable and detail-oriented Automotive Detail Technician to join our growing team. This position focuses on providing high-quality vehicle detailing services while delivering excellent customer service.
Compensation & Benefits
Starting @ $16 per hour probation period plus 100% tips.
$18 an hour after 2 week probation period (1099 contractor)

Duties & Responsibilities
Perform interior and exterior vehicle detailing
Hand wash and dry vehicles
Vacuum interiors and clean all surfaces
Shampoo carpets and seats as needed
Clean wheels, tires, and exterior trim
Apply waxes, sealants, and interior protectants
Perform paint correction and ceramic coating services (if trained)
Maintain cleanliness and organization of company vehicle and equipment
Provide professional and friendly customer service
Requirements
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Strong attention to detail
Reliable and punctual
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Detailing experience preferred but not required (training available for the right candidate)

Weekend availability may be required
