Immediate need for a talented Mobile API engineer (SERVER-SIDE). This is a 12 Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $50 - $75/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications and APIs.
Build and enhance the Mobile Service Layer (BFF) consumed by mobile applications.
Develop REST and GraphQL APIs.
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
Refactor legacy applications and modernize existing services.
Debug and resolve production issues.
Participate in CI/CD, automated testing, and performance optimization.
Collaborate with product managers, mobile developers, QA, and designers

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

Must have skills: - Kotlin, Java, REST APIs, GraphQL, Backend for Frontend (BFF)
Strong backend development experience.
Kotlin (Must Have)
Java
REST API development
GraphQL
CI/CD and automated testing
Unit testing and debugging
Experience working with microservices and distributed systems
