Hours: 6:00 AM 4:00 PM Days: Monday Thursday (Friday Overtime Mandatory When Required) Pay: $16.50/hr Short Description A rubber manufacturing facility in Cuyahoga Falls, OH is seeking dependable Mixer Operators to mix rubber compounds according to batch instructions. This is a physically demanding position in a very dusty and dirty industrial environment.
Candidates must be comfortable working around carbon black and industrial mixing equipment. Responsibilities
Follow detailed batch tickets to mix rubber compounds
Operate mixer control panels and monitor oil injection systems
Handle and weigh raw materials
Complete required documentation and production reports
Clean equipment and maintain safe work area
Meet daily production goals
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to lift 5060 lbs continuously
Ability to climb stairs repeatedly during shift
Extremely dusty/dirty environment (carbon black)
Respiratory protection may be required
Must be medically able to wear a respirator
No facial hair permitted when respirator use is required
Steel-toed boots required
Reliable transportation (not bus accessible)
Must be willing to comply with a national background check
Physical Requirements This position requires walking approximately 2.5+ miles per day and standing for the entirety of the shift. Must be able to bend, twist, stoop, lift, and perform repetitive motions with or without reasonable accommodation.
