Millwright / Stationary Equipment Technician - Req# 4001

Position Summary

• Maintain bagging operations by troubleshooting and repairing equipment failures, including electrical and mechanical systems.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on bagging equipment to ensure reliability and minimize unplanned downtime.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair stationary industrial equipment, including conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, and hydraulic systems.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and implement effective repair solutions in a timely manner.
• Repair and maintain other stationary yard equipment, including stacking conveyors, screens, grinders, and the color machine.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Align, level, and calibrate machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Perform welding, fabrication, and basic machining as needed.
• Inspect equipment regularly and identify potential issues before failures occur.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and inspection reports.
• Assist with maintenance and repair of facility buildings and other equipment as needed.
• Collaborate with operations and leadership teams to improve equipment performance and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and company policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2+ years of experience as a millwright, maintenance technician, or in a related mechanical role
• Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of industrial equipment and systems
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and troubleshooting mechanical failures
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Basic welding and fabrication skills

• 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or manufacturing environments
• Experience working with composting, recycling, or material processing equipment
• Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems
• Certification in welding, industrial maintenance, or related trade
• Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
• Knowledge of OSHA and safety regulations

• Diploma de secundaria o equivalente
• Más de 2 años de experiencia como mecánico industrial, técnico de mantenimiento o en un rol mecánico relacionado
• Fuerte aptitud mecánica y conocimiento de equipos y sistemas industriales
• Experiencia en mantenimiento preventivo y diagnóstico de fallas mecánicas
• Capacidad para leer e interpretar planos y diagramas técnicos
• Habilidades básicas de soldadura y fabricación

• Más de 5 años de experiencia en mantenimiento industrial o entornos de manufactura
• Experiencia en compostaje, reciclaje o procesamiento de materiales
• Conocimiento de sistemas hidráulicos, neumáticos y eléctricos
• Certificación en soldadura, mantenimiento industrial u oficio relacionado
• Experiencia con sistemas CMMS (sistemas computarizados de gestión de mantenimiento)
• Conocimiento de normas OSHA y regulaciones de seguridad
