Responsible for installing interior and exterior piping systems (ductile iron, stainless steel, plastic) and related equipment.
Essential duties include preparing ground for underground piping, working with supervisors to layout systems, cutting and aligning piping, and connecting fused, glued, flanged, and mechanical joints.
Tasks also involve installing process equipment like pumps, tanks, skids, and screens; maintaining work areas; notifying supervisors of faulty materials; and planning work procedures with required tools and materials.
Ideal candidates demonstrate quality work, logical thinking, ability to prioritize, work independently or in teams, and strong decision-making skills. Willingness to travel is required.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED (preferred) and 1+ years of construction experience (preferred).
Physical ability to work in various weather conditions, perform manual tasks, and exert force is necessary. Additional physical requirements include standing, climbing, and handling objects up to 100 lbs.
