Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting to identify mechanical issues.
- Collaborate with other trades and departments to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Document maintenance and repair activities accurately.
- Assist in the training of junior millwrights and apprentices.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in millwright or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a millwright or in a similar role within an industrial setting.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with welding, rigging, and alignment techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
