American Workforce Group is a local manufacturing mill in Hoquiam, WA looking to fill an important Industrial Millwright role. If you're a motivated, qualified individual, we want you!
Description for Industrial Millwright:
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery and equipment.
- Align, level, and install mechanical components including pumps, motors, conveyors, gearboxes, and bearings.
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and production systems.
- Diagnose mechanical failures and implement corrective actions.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Use precision measurement tools and hand/power tools.
- Assist with equipment upgrades, modifications, and plant improvements.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies.
- Work with maintenance and operations teams to minimize downtime.
Details for Industrial Millwright:
- Pay: $23 - $35/hour
- Schedule: Monday through Friday
- Shift Hours: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Night Shift)
Requirements for Industrial Millwright:
- 3+ years of millwright, industrial maintenance, or mechanical experience (preferred).
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and steam systems, bearings, gearboxes, hydraulics, welding, and fabricating.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and technical documentation.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, pull, and push for 12-hour shifts.
- Must have good math skills.
- Experience with rigging, alignment, and equipment installation.
