What to Expect

• Newly hired employees will join United Steelworkers Local 21 after 30 days of employment.
• The mill runs around the clock-so you'll need to be able and willing to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime when needed.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Minimum age of 18
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts (days, nights, weekends, holidays) and overtime as needed
• Physically capable of performing demanding tasks for extended periods, including lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and pulling
• Successful completion of pre-employment testing and assessments
• Minimum of two (2) years of current, continuous work experience in any field, demonstrating reliability and consistency

Preferred:

• Post-high school education
• Industrial experience
• Industry-related certifications
• Experience operating industrial equipment
