Migration Support Analyst
Responsibilities
Provide application support for a Mainframe-to-Cloud Lift-and-Shift migration.
Requirements
Experience with Linux Server Administration (Red Hat and SUSE) including command-line, patching, upgrades, and software install/deploy capabilities.
Experience using Rocket Enterprise Server (formerly Micro Focus) to administer the platform that hosts COBOL workloads on Linux.
Exposure to Rocket Enterprise Developer (sufficient familiarity to support the environment, even though the role is admin-focused).
AWS experience including a solid understanding of operating Linux workloads in an AWS environment.
Comfortable working with COBOL, JCL, and control cards in a modernized Linux context.
