POSITION: Middle School Track Coach
Discovery Middle School
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school graduate or equivalent.
Prefer applicants with experience in middle or high school level coaching and/or participation in sport to which they are applying.
Applicant must have a time schedule compatible with that of the middle school.
CPR and/or first aide training preferred.
Demonstrated ability to work with parents and children.
REPORTS TO: Building Principal
RATE OF PAY: According to the Master Agreement - Schedule "B"
BEGINNING DATE: Spring 2026
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The coach will be responsible for the entire organization of the sport to which he/she is assigned.
The coach will be directly responsible for all equipment in his/her sport. A complete inventory of all equipment will be filed with the director at the end of
each season.
Bending, lifting, and overhead work required.
Performs other tasks as assigned.
