Twin Lakes #4 School District is seeking a full-time Middle School Teacher to join our team at Lakewood School, a single-school district serving students in grades 4K-8. This is a one-year, limited term position. Our school has strong, deep-rooted ties to the Twin Lakes community and our local neighborhoods as we support ALL learners in learning, growing, and excelling every day.

Position Summary

The Middle School Social Studies Teacher provides high-quality, core academic instruction and differentiated learning opportunities tailored to the unique developmental needs of middle school students. This role emphasizes fostering critical thinking, historical inquiry, and civic literacy through responsive teaching practices. In addition to core social studies curriculum, the teacher will design and instruct assigned elective courses to promote student engagement and exploration.

This position relies on proactive collaboration with grade-level teams, content area specialists, and support staff, utilizing data-driven decision-making to maximize student academic growth, engagement, and success within a supportive and collaborative learning environment.
