You are invited to apply for the position of Middle School Social Studies Teacher at Laker Schools in Huron County, Michigan. We recently completed a 20 million dollar facilities project that added modern classrooms, updated technology, and new learning spaces, including our Innovation Center for skilled trades and Legacy Center fieldhouse. QUALIFICATIONS:

• Possess a valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with a Social Studies (RX) endorsement, certified to teach grades 6-8 (either via an Elementary K-8 certification with a subject-area endorsement or a Secondary 6-12 certification).
• Willingness to work collaboratively with grade-level and subject-area colleagues, and participate in school initiatives.
• Meet all Michigan Department of Education (MDE) certification and qualification guidelines.
• Ability to design engaging, inquiry-based lessons that cater to the unique academic, social, and emotional needs of middle school students.
