Compensation & Schedule

• $52,000 annually or BOE (Based on Experience)

• Full-time, school-year schedule (2026–2027 academic year)

Role Impact

As a Middle School Math Teacher, you will shape both the academic growth and character development of students during their most formative years. This role exists to build strong mathematical foundations while cultivating critical thinking, confidence, and Christ-centered leadership. Success is measured by measurable student achievement, high classroom engagement, and meaningful partnership with families and school leadership.

• Deliver engaging, standards-aligned mathematics instruction (pre-algebra, algebraic reasoning, problem-solving, quantitative reasoning) that drives student mastery

• Design differentiated lesson plans using assessment data to close learning gaps and extend advanced learners

• Monitor and evaluate student progress through formative and summative assessments, projects, and classroom participation

• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and behavior in compliance with school policies

• Partner proactively with parents and guardians to support student achievement and personal development

Minimum Qualifications

• State-issued Teacher Certification in Mathematics or related discipline

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field

• Demonstrated commitment to Christian faith and acceptance of the school’s doctrinal beliefs

Equipment & Work Environment

• Primarily indoor classroom setting

• Regular standing, walking, and active classroom supervision

• Frequent computer use requiring repetitive hand and finger motion

Preferred Skills

• Experience integrating instructional technology (learning management systems, interactive math platforms, digital assessments) into mathematics instruction

• Strong classroom management and student engagement strategies that foster accountability and collaboration

• Clear, professional communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues
