The School District of Colfax is seeking a Middle School Interventionist for the 2026-2027 school year.
Qualifications: Formal training and Wisconsin Licensure in the area of middle level education.
Must successfully pass the district's background check.
Experience and Certification: Knowledge of and/or experience with middle level education with an emphasis on language arts and mathematics. The ability to execute formal intervention strategies in both academic and behavioral learning. The leadership skills necessary to lead and manage the Intervention Center.

Supervises: No employment related supervision duties.
Reports To: Middle School/High School Principal
Position Summary: To serve as the middle school interventionist by providing direct academic and behavioral support to students in need.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manages, directs, and leads the middle school Intervention Center.
Implements a data-driven academic intervention program for middle school students.
Supervises and counsels middle school students identified for behavioral interventions.
Administers and monitors middle school student achievement and behavioral data.
Collaborates directly with middle school teaching staff on intervention strategies and techniques.
Establishes a culture of achievement and success in the Intervention Center.
Maintains high standards for student conduct and performance in the Intervention Center.
Collaborates with the middle school high school counselor on the scope, sequence, and delivery of a social emotional learning curriculum for all middle school students.
Performs such other duties tasks as may be assigned from time to time within the scope of this job description.
Fosters positive and appropriate workplace relationships with all district employees.
Serves as a positive role model for students.

Evaluation: Employee performance will be evaluated annually by the principal in accordance with applicable school district policy.
