Gareld School District Certicated Position Announcement "In and Out of District" Opens: 07/10/2026 Closes: Until Filled LONG TERM SUBSTITUTE TEACHING POSITION September 1, 2026 to November 25, 2026 The Garfield School District is seeking to fill our middle school history , long-term substitute teaching position for the fall of 2026 Preference Given: Must have Washington Teaching Certification Experience teaching primary grades Willingness and ability to accept responsibility beyond the regular classroom duties. Salary and Benets Salary: $57,294-102,556 per year based on education and experience and prorated FTE Length of Contract: .33 FTE, 60 day contract - September 1 to November 25, 2026 Leaves/Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, life and long-term disability coverage is provided through SEBB (School Employee Benefits Board) for employees who work at least 630 hours per academic year. Retirement benefits are provided through the Washington State Department of Retirement Systems (DRS). Additional benefits may include sick/emergency leave and personal leave as per the collective bargaining agreement between the Garfield-Palouse Education Association (GPEA) and the Garfield and Palouse School Districts.
