Duties • Design plays • Practices and skills development • Enable basketball players to implement plays and confidently use skills on the basketball court during practice and games • Teach proper techniques and safety guidelines • Supervise all team activities, games, practices, and travel to away games • Teach basketball skills • Foster teamwork, discipline, confidence, and good sportsmanship • Schedule practices, events, manage equipment, and coordinate with other staff and administration
Qualifications 4 years of previous successful basketball coaching experience at the middle grades level Successful experience building rapport with students ages 10-14 Motivational, creative confidence-instilling manager of student behavior Knowledgeable on the topics of basketball safety skills development and professional game behavior
Salary and Benefits Pay and hours based on LTALSSA contract, game times, and competition schedule.
