The emphasis of football is to cultivate an interest, skill development, proper technique and learning of the rules in order to encourage successful future participation. The hours vary during the season.
Essential Job Functions:
Work collaboratively with other football coaches
Plan an effective practice
Develop a calendar of practices
Coordinate a game plan.
Work with the office staff for busing
Coordinate uniform and equipment handout/ collection
Effectively communicate with parents
Divide athletes into two even teams.
Meet with HS staff to work on similarities of offense/ defense/ ST schemes.
Organize parent meeting
Organize scrimmage
Evaluate athletes
Create depth chart
