Princeton Day School is seeking an experienced Middle School English Teacher (1 Year Position) beginning in the 2026-27 school year. Strong candidates will be knowledgeable about and committed to supportive academic challenges, an inquiry-based approach, the use of technology to enhance student learning, and a student-centered classroom. In developing and sharing curricular ideas, PDS teachers strive to create a coherent experience for all students through active collaboration with their colleagues. PDS seeks candidates who are enthusiastic about Middle School aged students and dedicated to our mission of educating and nurturing each student. PDS is particularly interested in teachers who engage diversity and environmental sustainability and who challenge students to apply critical thinking skills when examining our studies and the world around them.
In addition to teaching, a full-time teacher contributes to the community life of PDS as an advisor of 6-12 students, has various duties, and is expected to contribute to school life outside the classroom in an extracurricular activity, such as coaching or clubs. One to four times a semester, a weekend or evening activity or campus event may be required.

Compensation Range: $66,500 - $107,000 a year (this role is eligible for benefits)
