Washington County schools are located in one of the most beautiful and historic counties in the state. All schools met their drop out reduction goals set by the state. The Mission statement for Washington County Schools is In partnership with parents and the community shall challenge inspire and nurture each student to be academically prepared for higher educationadvanced technical training the workforce and to become responsible citizens with a strong work ethic. The District Comprehensive Improvement Plan which was recently revised continues to provide guidance and direction for our district. Four schools serve our district - North Washington ElementaryPK-8 Washington County Elementary PK-5 Washington County Middle School 6-8 and Washington County High School9-12. Our College and Career Readiness initiative focuses on exposing students to a rigorous curricula and college -level work. CommandingExcellence For All is reflected in all we do.
