Our Client's Description of this Opportunity:

Our clients are seeking a dedicated and experienced Academic Coach to support Middle School teachers—particularly new educators—in strengthening their instructional practices, classroom management, and professional growth. This role focuses on mentoring and guiding teachers to enhance student outcomes through effective teaching strategies, leadership development, and ongoing support.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in classroom teaching and demonstrated leadership experience within a school setting. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by empowering educators, fostering confidence, and promoting a positive and effective learning environment.

Client's Summary of Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and group coaching to teachers, with a focus on new teacher development and support
• Model effective instructional strategies, classroom management techniques, and best practices
• Support teachers in lesson planning, curriculum implementation, and alignment with academic standards
• Observe classroom instruction and provide constructive, actionable feedback
• Develop and facilitate professional development sessions and workshops for staff
• Guide teachers in building positive classroom cultures that support student engagement and achievement
• Support teachers in differentiating instruction to meet diverse student needs, including special education
• Utilize data to monitor teacher and student progress, adjusting coaching strategies as needed
• Collaborate with school leadership, instructional teams, and staff to drive continuous improvement
• Serve as a mentor and instructional leader, fostering a culture of growth, reflection, and accountability

Client's Required Skills & Experience:

• Teaching Certification - required
• Middle School Teaching Experience - required
• Classroom Experience - required
• Master's Degree - preferred
• Supervisory Experience - preferred
