The Cambria-Friesland School District is seeking an enthusiastic, student-centered Middle/High School Science Teacher to join our dedicated team. We are looking for an educator who is passionate about science education, builds positive relationships with students, and creates an engaging classroom environment that inspires curiosity and critical thinking.
Position Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a variety of middle and high school science courses, including:
- 7th Grade Science
- 8th Grade Science
- Environmental Science
- Biology
- Introduction to Physics & Chemistry
Additional responsibilities include:
- Developing and delivering engaging, standards-based lessons.
- Assessing student learning and using data to inform instruction.
- Creating a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborating with colleagues, families, and administration to support student success.
- Participating in professional development and school activities.
Qualifications
- Valid Wisconsin teaching license.
- Wisconsin Biology teaching license required.
- Strong instructional and classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Commitment to meeting the diverse academic and social-emotional needs of students.
