About the Role

• As a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), you will build and maintain a comprehensive test infrastructure for our SDN platform.
• You will collaborate with backend and frontend engineers to design automated tests, simulate real-world networking scenarios, and ensure reliability from kernel to UI.
• This role supports the Net Agility Product, a Software Defined Networking (SDN) solution for a government end customer.

Responsibilities

• Building out a new SDET team
• Supporting both commercial and government clients
• Designing automated tests and simulating real-world networking scenarios
• Ensuring reliability from kernel to UI
• Collaborating with backend and frontend engineers

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM (EE, Communication Networks, Computer Engineering)
• Languages & Frameworks: Python, JavaScript, Pytest, Jest, Cypress
• Networking Knowledge: IP networks, routing, TCP/IP fundamentals, packet measurement and traffic generation tools
• Testing Areas: Hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) and networking tests, API (REST & gRPC) and Web App testing, Reliability and efficiency of networking systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Clearance is a plus
• Remote work is acceptable, but onsite/local is preferred for FTE conversion
