Mid-Level Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Associate AttorneyMultiple U.S. Office Locations (Most Major US Markets)OverviewA nationally recognized law firm is seeking a mid-level Corporate M&A Associate with 4–8 years of experience to join its national group. This position is available in multiple U.S. offices and offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated domestic and cross-border transactions representing both strategic and private equity clients.The practice advises publicly and privately held middle-market and upper middle-market companies, private equity sponsors, and institutional investors on a wide range of strategic business transactions. Attorneys in this role will collaborate with colleagues across multiple offices and practice areas while serving clients on complex, high-profile matters.ResponsibilitiesRepresent buyers, sellers, investors, and private equity sponsors in complex mergers and acquisitions.Draft, review, and negotiate acquisition agreements and related transaction documents.Handle domestic and cross-border M&A transactions from inception through closing.Advise clients on acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, joint ventures, and other strategic corporate transactions.Coordinate and manage multiple transaction workstreams while working with multidisciplinary legal teams.Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and other transaction participants throughout the deal process.Support business development initiatives and cultivate long-term client relationships.Qualifications4–8 years of corporate M&A experience at a law firm.Significant experience representing clients in sophisticated mergers and acquisitions and other strategic transactions.Experience with private equity transactions is strongly preferred.Excellent drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously and work effectively in a collaborative environment.Strong client management and interpersonal skills.Interest in practice development and building lasting client relationships.Education & Bar AdmissionJ.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.Strong academic credentials.Ability to obtain admission in the jurisdiction of the hiring office, if required.#J-18808-Ljbffr
