Role MicroStrategy Specialist Location DC Metro Area or Hartford CT Duration 6-12&plus Months VISA USCGC Only Position Description scope of work or brief narrative Plans implements directs and coordinates activities supporting enterprise reporting and Extract Transform Load ETL processes. Directs conducts and coordinates tests to ensure that MicroStrategy products meet defined needs. Translates business requirements into design specifications and configurations for data stores warehouses and marts. Analyze industry and technology trends and advise clients on BIanalytics enterprise strategy. Manage the timely flow of MicroStrategy product changes to users. Identify and analyze MicroStrategy and business intelligence trends with business strategy implications. Create and maintain a library of model documents templates or other reusable knowledge assets. Required years of experience training technical skills and other requirements for job performance Minimum 5 years experience in delivering MicroStrategy solutions. Professional MicroStrategy certification Bachelors degree with preferred study in Computer Science Information Science Information Systems Management Math Statistics Operations Research or Engineering 7 years of work experience in related field may be substituted for education. Strong understanding and of data models analytics ETL and hands-on design programmingscripting testing experience around these areas Ability to design develop and implement mission-critical dashboards and reports. Analytical ability Experience in designing solutions using MicroStrategy Hands-on development with a willingness to troubleshoot and solve complex problems. Ability to work in a team in diverse multiple stakeholder environment Verbal and written communication skills.
