    Description

    Role: Microservices Architect (Java)
    Location: Santa Clara / San Jose, CA
    Work Model: Hybrid (Onsite 3 days/week)

    Position Overview
    We are looking for a Microservices Architect with strong Java expertise to lead the design and implementation of scalable, cloud-native applications. This role requires hands-on architecture experience and the ability to guide engineering teams in building distributed systems.
    Responsibilities
    • Design and implement microservices-based architecture
    • Define architecture standards, best practices, and design patterns
    • Lead technical discussions and mentor development teams
    • Build and optimize services using Java and Spring Boot
    • Drive API strategy, integration, and performance optimization
    • Work closely with DevOps on CI/CD, containerization, and cloud deployment
    • Ensure system scalability, security, and reliability
    Required Qualifications
    • 10+ years of software development experience
    • Strong expertise in Java/J2EE and Spring Boot
    • Proven experience designing microservices and distributed systems
    • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka
    • Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
    • Strong communication and leadership skills
    Preferred
    • Experience with event-driven architecture
    • Familiarity with service mesh and observability tools
