We provide quality resources in four specialty areas: Information Technology (IT), Clinical Research, Rehabilitation Therapy and Nursing.Job DescriptionJob Title: Microbiology Technical SpecialistLocation: St. Louis, MO Duration: PermanentJob Role: The ideal candidate will act as a technical expert to provide technical guidance to lab staff, clientele and sales/business development personnel. This role will be for those with prior lab experience and a desire to enhance their career outside of a supervisor position. The candidate will be expected to work independently with limited supervision. Other responsibilities include:Oversight of technical projects including method development, validations, verifications and transfers.Technical writing including, but not limited to, authoring protocol and summary reports.Troubleshooting methods; conducting investigations into non-conformances, deviations, OOS and CAPAs.Ensuring compliance with CFR, FDA, DEA, and GMP regulatory requirements.Qualifications: BS/MS degree in Microbiology or related scientific discipline with 5+ years of experience in a cGMP regulated environment. Extensive knowledge of Microbiology principles with extensive experience in 3 or more of the following areas: Technical Writing, Sterility (Clean room or isolator), Bacterial Endotoxin Testing, Microbial Limit Testing, Antibiotic Assays, Antimicrobial Effectiveness Testing, Cell Culture. Experience meeting aggressive timelines.
