Mgr-PACE Transportation
Schedule: Day Shift. 40 hours weekly. Monday - Friday
About the Position
Under the supervision of the PACE Associate Director, the Transportation Manager oversees the PACE and Reid Health Non-Emergent Transportation programs. Responsibilities include managing the transportation of participants/patients, meals, durable medical equipment, and medications, as well as scheduling transportation services. The Transportation Manager is also responsible for hiring, training, supervising, and providing oversight to drivers and dispatchers, addressing additional transportation needs as required. This role includes managing vehicle repairs and maintenance, identifying cost-effective vendors, and ensuring quality service. Additionally, the Transportation Manager is accountable for achieving departmental budget goals and ensuring operational efficiency.

Education & Experience
Minimum Education Required: Associate degree or in lieu of degree, 3 years of experience in transportation setting.
Minimum Education Preferred: Bachelor's Degree
Minimum Experience Required: 2 years of administrative/supervisory experience, in a transportation setting; experience in the transportation industry preferred.
Minimum of 1 year working with the frail and elderly.
Minimum Experience Preferred: 2 years of administrative/supervisory experience, in a transportation setting; 5 years of experience in the transportation industry preferred.
