Overview:

At PDS Health, paid media is a key driver of patient growth, brand awareness, and access to care. As Manager, Digital Marketing (Paid Media), you’ll lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of paid media programs that connect patients to trusted care across our network. You’ll translate business goals into scalable media strategies, balancing performance, efficiency, and growth. Responsibilities

Paid Media Strategy & Planning

  • Act as the strategic lead for paid media, developing channel strategies across search, social, display, and emerging platforms.

  • Translate business goals into media plans that drive patient acquisition, appointment bookings, and revenue growth.

  • Identify opportunities to expand reach, improve efficiency, and test new channels or tactics.

Campaign Execution & Optimization

  • Oversee the execution of paid media campaigns, ensuring they are launched on time, on budget, and aligned with objectives.

  • Continuously optimize campaigns based on performance data, focusing on CPA, conversion rates, and return on ad spend.

  • Partner with internal teams and agencies to manage budgets, bids, targeting, and creative performance.

Performance & Analytics

  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, identifying trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Connect media performance to downstream outcomes, including appointments, patient visits, and production.

  • Build and deliver clear, actionable reporting to stakeholders, translating data into business insights.

Cross-Channel Collaboration

  • Collaborate with SEO, content, creative, and patient experience teams to ensure alignment across the full patient journey.

  • Partner with analytics and technology teams to ensure accurate tracking, attribution, and data integration.

  • Align paid media strategies with broader marketing campaigns and brand initiatives.

Testing & Innovation

  • Lead a culture of testing and experimentation, developing A/B tests across audiences, messaging, and channels.

  • Stay current on industry trends, platform updates, and emerging technologies to keep PDS Health ahead of the curve.

  • Identify and pilot new opportunities to improve performance and scale growth.

Team Development & Leadership

 

  • Coach and develop team members, fostering a culture of accountability, curiosity, and continuous improvement.

  • Provide clear direction, feedback, and growth opportunities to build a high-performing paid media team.

  • Create an environment where data-driven decision-making and innovation are encouraged.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or related field.

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience managing paid media campaigns across search, social, and display.

  • 3+ years of experience leading or mentoring team members.

  • Deep expertise in platforms including Google Ads, YouTube, Meta Ads Manager, and programmatic/display platforms.

  • Strong experience with campaign structure, keyword strategy, audience segmentation, and bid management.

  • Proven track record of managing and optimizing toward CPA, ROAS, and conversion-based KPIs.

  • Hands-on experience with conversion tracking, tagging, and attribution (Google Tag Manager, GA4, platform pixels).

  • Experience managing budgets across multiple markets or locations with a focus on efficiency and scale.

  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive decisions and optimizations.

Preferred

  • Experience in healthcare, dental, or multi-location retail environments.

  • Experience managing local or geo-targeted paid media strategies at scale (100+ locations).

  • Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, or similar customer data platforms.

  • Experience integrating paid media performance with CRM or EMR systems (e.g., EPIC) to track downstream outcomes.

  • Experience working with call tracking, appointment booking data, and offline conversion tracking.

  • Familiarity with attribution models beyond last-click (multi-touch, data-driven attribution).

  • Experience managing or partnering with external media agencies.

  • Knowledge of privacy regulations and platform changes impacting targeting and tracking.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Strong command of paid media fundamentals including bidding strategies, quality score, ad rank, and auction dynamics.

  • Ability to connect media performance to business outcomes like appointments, patient visits, and production.

  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret large data sets and identify actionable insights.

  • Strong testing mindset with experience designing and executing A/B and multivariate tests.

  • Ability to manage and prioritize across multiple campaigns, markets, and stakeholders.

  • Clear and confident communicator who can translate performance data into simple, actionable recommendations.

  • Collaborative approach with ability to work cross-functionally across marketing, analytics, and operations teams.

  • High level of ownership and accountability for performance results.

  • Curiosity and adaptability to stay ahead of platform changes, trends, and new opportunities.
