Position Summary
The SMC Case Management Manager (SMC Church St. and SMC Mary Black), under the direction of the Director of Case Management, assumes responsibility and accountability for facilitating the department''s work. The Manager assists in the provision of cost-effective quality service through collaboratively working with and supporting the staff of Case Management. The Manager demonstrates strong organizational and planning skills and can work collaboratively with managers, administration, and physicians. The Manager shares 24-hour responsibility and accountability for the department with the Director.
Minimum Requirements
Education
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN, or accredited school of Social Work, LMSW
Experience
RN or LMSW with five (5) years' experience in nursing or social work, three years' experience in Case Management, Utilization Management or Quality Management; must have good command of the English language in verbal and written communication; Two years supervisory experience.
License/Registration/Certifications
Current R.N. licensure in the state of SC or Current Social Work licensure in the state of SC
