Job Description:
We are seeking a hands-on Metering Systems Specialist with strong experience in Itron headend systems (MV90, FCS, Temetra, UIQ). The role involves configuration, support, and optimization of meter data collection systems and ensuring reliable integration with downstream utility platforms such as MDMS, CIS, OMS, and analytics systems.
Key Responsibilities
Configure and support Itron systems: MV90, FCS, Temetra, UIQ
Manage meter setups, templates, onboarding, and lifecycle updates
Monitor and support meter data collection, polling, and batch processing
Troubleshoot missing, delayed, or inaccurate meter reads
Design, execute, and optimize batch jobs (interval, register, events)
Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience with Itron MV90, Temetra, FCS, UIQ
Knowledge of AMI/AMR metering systems
Experience in meter data processing (interval, register, event data)
Strong SQL and UNIX/Linux skills
Preferred
Utility domain experience (electric, gas, or water)
Exposure to SAP IS-U or similar CIS systems
Experience in AMI rollouts, migrations, or system upgrades
