Metallurgical Engineer

This role is pivotal in overseeing the metallurgical dimensions of projects from initial customer inquiries to post-delivery service. Responsibilities include reviewing and offering expertise on material specifications, ensuring metallurgical compliance during order reviews, and providing technical assistance to sales and operations teams. The position also entails engaging in product and process innovations, investigating customer claims to offer solutions, and analyzing internal discrepancies and testing failures for resolution. Qualifications include a degree in Metallurgy or Metallurgical Engineering, a minimum of five years of experience in ferrous metallurgy (with a preference for heavy metal sections), and proficiency in nickel and titanium. Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office, excellent organizational capabilities, and a results-driven mindset are essential. Willingness to travel regionally is required.
