Metal Handler / Furnace Support Operator
Manufacturing Position | Full-Time | Union Benefits

Shift: Swing Shift: 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Location: Macedonia, OH
Pay: $21-$25/hr

Alliance Industrial is hiring dependable and safety-focused individuals for a Metal Handler / Furnace Support Operator position in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Candidates with forklift, tow motor, foundry, furnace, casting, or heavy industrial experience are encouraged to apply.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklift/tow motor to move metal materials and production supplies
  • Load furnaces, pots, or crucibles with metal and materials as required
  • Support furnace operations and maintain production flow
  • Perform basic furnace and equipment cleaning/maintenance
  • Monitor furnace temperatures and assist with adjustments as needed
  • Remove scrap, slag, and excess materials safely
  • Maintain accurate material counts and production paperwork
  • Follow all plant safety procedures and PPE requirements
  • Assist with production startup after shutdowns or maintenance periods
  • Perform additional warehouse or production duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Previous forklift or tow motor experience required
  • Manufacturing, foundry, furnace, casting, or industrial experience preferred
  • Ability to work in hot temperatures and fast-paced environments
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic required
  • Ability to lift, stand, bend, and work on your feet throughout the shift
  • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or flexible schedules as needed
  • Strong attention to safety and teamwork
