The Role
As a Metal Fabrication Specialist, you will play a key role in the production of highquality fabricated components that support advanced automation systems. You'll work across CNC machining, metal forming, and fabrication processes, contributing directly to efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement within the department.
You'll report to the Manufacturing Engineer and Scheduling Manager and work closely with Engineering, Fabrication, and Project Management teams.
What You'll Be Doing
- Operate and support CNC Lathes and Mills
- Perform metal forming, including press brakes and rolls
- Program CNC machines using SolidWorks CAM
- Coordinate machine centers in the automated metal prep area to maximize efficiency and minimize waste
- Develop machine operation standards to improve uptime and reduce tool wear or breakage
- Maintain tooling, fabrication programs, and machine health
- Train team members on CNC machinery as the department grows
- Research and implement new tooling, methods, fluids, and fabrication improvements
- Schedule and prioritize work within the department
- Interface with Engineering to resolve drawing, design, and manufacturability issues
- Inspect finished products using measuring tools such as calipers and tape measures
- Read and interpret blueprints and work orders accurately
What We're Looking For
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in metal fabrication or machining
- High school diploma or equivalent (onthejob training accepted)
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Experience working in a fastpaced manufacturing environment
- Conveyor experience is a plus

- Comfortable with basic computer tools (Word, Excel, email)

- Able to work independently or as part of a team

- Reliable attendance and punctuality
Physical Requirements
- Able to stand, bend, and occasionally climb short ladders for an 8hour shift
- Able to lift and move up to 50 lbs
- Available to work 40 hours per week, with overtime as needed
