Description:

We are seeking an experienced MES Senior Consultant / Engineer with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA MES integration, Werum (Ko rber) MES upgrades, and stakeholder management. The ideal candidate will serve as the liaison between SAP S/4HANA and MES teams, leading MES upgrade assessments, integration planning, testing coordination, and ensuring successful delivery of manufacturing system initiatives.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Lead structured MES upgrade assessments, including current-state MES capability and configuration review.
• Perform interface/integration inventory, criticality scoring, and performance, scalability, and availability assessments.
• Develop MES upgrade strategies and recommendations, including migration approaches, phased rollout plans, risks, dependencies, and effort estimates.
• Produce MES Upgrade Assessment Reports and roadmaps aligned with SAP S/4HANA implementation milestones.
• Serve as the primary liaison for SAP S/4HANA and MES testing schedules, data creation, and issue resolution.
• Facilitate end-to-end manufacturing process integration across SAP and MES, including production orders, confirmations, backflush, genealogy, traceability, quality, and batch management.
• Translate manufacturing business requirements into SAP/MES functional specifications and integration requirements.
• Collaborate with solution architects to define integration approaches using APIs, IDocs, middleware, and event-driven architectures.
• Ensure master data alignment across SAP and MES, including materials, BOMs, routings, recipes, work centers, production versions, and batch/serial management.
• Manage integrated work plans, RAID logs, and cross-functional coordination.
• Plan and execute SIT, end-to-end, regression, interface, performance, and production readiness testing.
• Support cutover planning, downtime analysis, fallback strategies, and shop-floor readiness.

Qualifications:

• 9+ years of experience in MES, SAP Manufacturing, or Manufacturing IT.
• Strong experience integrating SAP S/4HANA with MES platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Werum (Ko rber) MES upgrades and assessments.
• Experience with manufacturing processes, production execution, genealogy, traceability, and batch management.
• Knowledge of SAP integration technologies including APIs, IDocs, and middleware.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Experience managing testing, cutover planning, and production readiness for enterprise manufacturing programs.
