Mergers and Acquisitions Associate

MW Talent is partnering with a leading national law firm to hire a Mergers and Acquisitions Associate for its Kansas City office.

What you will do

• Support and lead M&A transactions, joint ventures, and complex corporate deals
• Work on private equity-sponsored transactions, with a focus on middle market deals
• Draft and negotiate purchase agreements and related documents
• Manage due diligence and coordinate transaction workflow
• Advise private companies, investors, and portfolio companies on corporate matters
• Handle financings, entity formation, governance, and commercial agreements
• Work closely with partners and clients across the full transaction lifecycle
• Manage multiple matters with increasing responsibility and client exposure

What you should have

• 3 or more years of corporate transactional experience at a law firm or similar environment
• Strong experience in M&A and private equity transactions
• Excellent writing, communication, and problem solving skills
• Strong academic credentials
• Ability to manage multiple deals efficiently
• JD required and active Missouri bar admission
