Overview:
Job Description
The Merchandise Coordinator provides sample management and organization for the Merchandising team for all channels of distribution (stores, web, factory, wholesale, international). This role owns sample management, including maintaining high standards of daily organization, unpacking, check in, storage, and request fulfillment. This role will also support data entry management at the SKU informational level and other administrative tasks.
They must work in collaboration with other departments including marketing, visual, wholesale, international, product development, and design to manage sample requests and SKU information. They will work closely with the merchandising and sales team to adhere to a tight assortment review, market, and international week schedule. Time management, strong organizational skills, and managing cross functional relationships are crucial to this position.
Responsibilities:
Manage sample tracking and management throughout the entire product lifecycle, including preparing for end-of-season sample sales.
Lead sample management for the team for assortment reviews, wholesale market, and international market
Set-up and break down samples for wholesale showroom and international market weeks
Request, maintain and track updates to samples and ensure corrected samples are received
Create, implement, and maintain daily organizational method for sample closets, racks, merchandising area, hallways, and any other relevant locations to ensure high standards of cleanliness and organization
Pull samples for marketing shoots, business reviews, product knowledge, and visual reviews
Sample management for WEB photography needs
Managing internal requests for samples
Responsible for identification and packing for sample sale
Facilitate all bookings, appointment flow and rack preparation
Assist with set up and maintenance of all SKUs across businesses in relevant systems
Administrative tasks as needed

The Ideal Candidate
Qualifications:
College degree
1-2 years of merchandising, showroom, or or sample management experience
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and maintains high standards of order
Excellent communication and collaborative skills
Ability to drive timelines and keep teams on task; love to cross things off your list
Ability to maintain poise and a positive attitude in a challenging environment
Must be flexible & able to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
Highly skilled in time management
Excel skills; experience in PLM SKU lifecycle system preferred
Ability to find answers through alternate means when not provided directly
Be a trusted member of the Merchandising team
Willing to take on other merchandising responsibilities not directly outlined here
