Schedule: Monday - Friday Full-Time

                   8:30 am - 5:00 pm 

                  Minimum two evenings per week 11:30 am - 7:30 pm

Salary:       $64,000 - $68,000 a year (DOE) 

 

Embark Behavioral Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our growing Outpatient Clinic in Alpharetta, GA. As a key member of our clinical team, you’ll provide individual and family therapy for teenagers and young adults in our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), helping youth and families in the Atlanta metro area access high-quality mental health treatment close to home.

Our experienced therapists support families through evidence-based care, specializing in treating adolescents facing behavioral health challenges. We offer Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to address anxiety, depression, trauma, and emotional regulation.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead collaborative team efforts through regular meetings, maintaining open communication with families and providing comprehensive support throughout treatment.
  • Create and implement personalized, evidence-based treatment plans across individual, family, and group therapy sessions, dynamically adapting approaches to optimize client outcomes.
  • Ensure rigorous documentation compliance with state regulations, maintaining confidentiality and managing interactions with relevant government agencies.
  • Manage program completion metrics and discharge planning, conducting thorough reviews with clients and families while adhering to established treatment standards.
  • Drive program effectiveness through outcomes testing, quality standards implementation, and strategic integration of service project initiatives to enhance client engagement and growth.
Qualifications:
  • Licensure: Fully licensed in Georgia (LCSW, LMFT, LPC) strongly preferred or provisionally licensed (APC, AMFT, LMSW) acceptable.

    Candidates must be prepared to establish a CAQH profile and obtain a National Provider Identifier (NPI) as part of the onboarding process.

    Preferred: High-acuity experience (IOP/PHP, Residential, Psychiatric Hospital, Crisis Stabilization) with relational, experiential, and evidence based systemic techniques.

    Preferred: 1 - 2 years of working experience as an adolescent therapist leading individual, family, and group therapy sessions.

    Proficiency in incorporating clinical diagnostic and assessment instruments to monitor client progress and treatment outcomes.

    Education: Master's degree in behavioral sciences (Social Work, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field)
