Position Overview
Bloom Health Centers is seeking a full-time Mental Health Technician (MHT) for our Annapolis, Maryland and Easton, Maryland locations. Bloom Health Centers provides innovative, evidence-based mental health treatments to patients across the Mid-Atlantic region, including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Spravato® therapy.
Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) is a non-invasive treatment that uses targeted magnetic pulses to stimulate areas of the brain involved in mood regulation. It is FDA-cleared for conditions such as major depressive disorder and obsessive-compulsive disorder and is often recommended for patients who have not experienced sufficient improvement with traditional treatments like medication or therapy.
During a TMS session, a trained technician positions an electromagnetic coil against the patient’s scalp to deliver gentle magnetic pulses that activate nerve cells in specific areas of the brain associated with mood and emotional regulation.
The Mental Health Technician (MHT) is responsible for delivering neuromodulation treatments, including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Spravato support, while also assisting with administrative and operational tasks within the office.
This role supports both patient treatment and office workflow. The individual will administer treatments according to physician protocols and assist with administrative responsibilities related to neuromodulation programs and office operations when not actively providing treatments.
Our Mental Health Technician (MHT) works closely with psychiatric providers to ensure treatments are delivered safely, accurately, and with a strong focus on patient comfort and support and serves as a key bridge between clinical treatment programs and office operations.
