Mental Health Technician II Position Details
Facility: Northside Behavioral Health Location: Tampa, FL Status: Full-time & Pool Hourly Shift Hours: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM or 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM Weekend Work: Every Other On Call: No
The Mental Health Technician II Responsibilities:
• Provides ongoing monitoring and observation of patients to ensure safety and wellbeing. • Promotes communication and therapeutic relationships with patients. • Assists with physical care under the direction of an RN. • Promotes coordination of the unit by completing orders, making phone calls, and directing calls and information to the charge nurse.

Required Certification:
• Licensures: BLS Basic Life Support, CNA Nursing Assistant - preferred, Patient Care Technician - preferred Required Education:
• High School or Equivalent • Associates degree in related field - Preferred • Bachelors degree in related field - Preferred
Required Experience:
• Mental Health Technician II - Required 6 months of Psychology-based experience or bachelors degree in related field • Mental Health Technician Pool - Preferred 6 months of Psychology-based experience
