Essential Functions:
Promote a safe, inclusive, and trauma-informed therapeutic environment.
Ensure confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and other relevant regulations.
Collaborate with psychiatrists, primary care providers, care coordinators, peer support specialists, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
Will practice behavioral health care in a community mental health setting and be flexible with frame of appointments set by operations team and leadership.
Complete brief clinical interventions as appropriate, including Warm-Hand Offs from primary care within the behavioral health integration model framework.
Complete initial behavioral health assessment and safety risk assessment/triage.
Conduct biopsychosocial assessments.
Complete diagnostic recommendations based on DSM-5 criteria.
Provide level of care assessments and recommendations based on assessment.
Monitor client progress using subjective assessment and objective metrics, develop and review treatment plans/care plan goals as needed, and facilitate referrals for additional services.
Teach/engage patients, families, and staff on care, prevention, and treatment enhancement techniques.
Provide individual, group, couples, and/or family therapy using evidence-based approaches.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards to include competency with billing documentation.
Show full competence in utilizing the EHR and other tele-health platforms after completion of orientation training.
Participate in regular clinical supervision, case consultation, and continuing education.
Will strive for quality metrics and productivity targets set by leadership. Will also participate in quality improvement by escalating challenges and solutions in current location of work.
Follow policies and procedures set forth by the administration as applicable.
Stay current with developments in clinical best practices and licensing requirements.
Facilitate psychoeducational groups and community outreach programs as needed.
Attend required meetings set forth by the supervisor.

Hours and locations may change based upon business needs or unforeseen emergency situations.
Availability for coverage outside of set schedule if needed.
May be required to perform emergency duties including but not limited to; working in Red Cross Shelters, and responding to man-made or natural responses to threats or disasters, among others.
Additionally, incumbents are required to perform emergency response and management duties for Palm Beach County.
Will be cross-trained/scheduled to work in the Clinic, on the phone, and/or on a mobile crisis outside of your primary duties.

Education:
Masters degree in Counseling, Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or related field required.
